Our first parish outreach programme

Sometime in late 2016, we decided to launch our first ever parish outreach event in 2017 - a series of 4 DVD sessions on selected chapters from Bishop Barron's Catholicism. These chapters will be selected based on what we think is relevant and applicable for (young) working adults. Besides showing the video, we will also provide sharing questions and additional material for reflection.

Through the grace of God, we hope that this could be a platform for working adults to learn more about Catholicism, and to participate in a faith-sharing community.

Who is Bishop Robert Barron?

Bishop Barron is a prominent theologian, author and evangelist. He founded the Word on Fire ministry, which serves as a platform for his evangelical work using media. He carried out the Catholicism project with the intent of reaching out to fallen-away Catholics and of educating the church.

What is the Catholicism series about?

The series comprises ten hour-long videos, narrated by Bishop Barron and containing footage of breathtaking sights from 16 countries. The material ranges from theological concepts of God, to Saints Peter and Paul, the Eucharist, and female doctors of the Church. Through his engaging and thought-provoking narration, Bishop Barron leads the audience on a deep and fulfilling journey into the heart of the Catholic faith.
